My hope is to always be a part of an honest group. Home, volunteer and leisure activities, and work, I am constantly striving to create, maintain and nurture honest relationships. Why do I strive for this honesty? Because without it I will spiral into meaninglessness and even with the denial turned up all the way, it will be difficult to make it through each day. I find the most joy is creating an honest workplace. It is also the most challenging place to make honest and open. Not because the individuals involved are dishonest, but because, even with a clear understanding of the goals, values, et al of the organization, honesty evades a lot of organizations. This may be due to a variety of activities, but no matter what the cause, the quest for honesty needs to be part of a healthy, and dare I say, successful organization.
